Meet our treasurer, Cheryl Lord!

Cheryl is married to her husband, Steve Lord, who also faithfully serves in our church. Before beginning her role as our church treasurer on September 1, 2023, Cheryl served as Director of the Utility Allowance Division at The Nelrod Company for 33 years and retired in June 2022. She has a deep passion for quilting and enjoys being involved in creative projects. You’ll see her beautiful work throughout our building, as she is part of the team that helps keep our church welcoming and beautiful through every season.

Cheryl loves spending time with her granddaughter, Marla, and her grandsons, Hudson and Asher. She organized FBC Lillian’s First Annual Ladies Tea Party, coordinates our Samaritan’s Purse Shoebox ministry, and is always ready to step in wherever help is needed. With her eye for detail and servant’s heart, we are truly blessed to have Cheryl serving as our church treasurer.
